As we end another busy month at Baltimore’s Favorite Furniture Consignment Store, it’s fun to think about all the Great Name-Brand Furniture that’s passed through our doors. But, as sure as the sun will rise on the first day of June tomorrow, you can bet that we’ll have another month full of Fabulous Furniture and Wonderful Estate Surprises. As shown in the first picture, Arnold is preparing a Potthast Tall Chest to be placed on our sales floor.Peaking out from the Potthast Chest is the corner of a Leather Top Writing Desk from Kittinger. Behind Arnold in the far back you can see a sold Stickley Secretary Desk. But, no worries, right next to that is an Inlaid Hekman Secretary ready to fill the space! 
In the second picture you see a very sharp White-Painted Writing Desk along with some other Casual Consignment Furniture. These pieces are in our Preview Room awaiting a spot on the sales floor. Be sure you “Sneak a Peek” behind the scenes at pieces in our Preview Room and Dock/Workshop space. Maybe the piece you’re searching for is just coming off one or our trucks!

The hard to find lighter color makes this set even more special. The Pearson Sectional Sofa pictured on the left is eight-way hand tied and costs thousands of dollars new. The last picture is of an almost new Henkel Harris Dining Room Set. This solid mahogany group includes the Table with 3 Leaves, Set of 6 Chippendale Chairs, and an Inlaid Hepplewhite Sideboard. Mid Century Style from High End Maker Brownstone Furniture and Other Pieces Arriving this Week!
As “Moving Season” gets into full swing here in the Baltimore/Washington DC area, we continue to fill the store with a variety of styles. This Rosewood Mid Century Dining Room and Media Center pictured here are from Brownstone Furniture. Purchased from a high end retail store less than five years ago, these pieces are in like-new condition.
Other furniture arrivals this week range from Formal to Country! We’ve just placed an Antique Corner Cabinet on the floor, a Henkel Harris New Market Tall Chest, Sofa Table/Bookcase, and a Period Style Grandfathers/Tall Case Clock by Ridgeway. It’s a good reminder that while we work hard to keep this website stocked with all of our furniture inventory, there’s nothing better than a trip to see us in person. This Week’s Furniture Sale Follows Baltimore’s Biggest Snowstorm of 2015!
One of our jobs as Baltimore’s Favorite Home Furnishings Consignment Store is to turn our clients no longer needed High Quality Furniture into Cash. One way we do this is by reducing the price on most of our inventory by 15% after 30 and 60 days. Giving our customers even more savings from our already low starting price!
But sometimes the Cold and Snow of Winter means that we have to work even harder. So, for this week only (February 24th through 28th, 2015) we’re taking an additional 30% Off any piece of furniture in our store that has reached it’s second 15% reduction. Here’s a picture taken on our dock Friday of some Great Traditional Mahogany Dining Room Furniture from Stickley. The set was just brought in from a home outside of Washington DC. It includes a Breakfront, Table with two leaves (back right), and a set of eight Queen Anne chairs. The set spent very little time in our workshop checking for any small mark or scratch and was quickly placed on our showroom floor. If you’re in the market for a lighter touch, the Round Pine Table from Baker (pictured to the left of the Stickley furniture) may be just what you need. It came from the same lovely home as the Stickley pieces.
