I've been shopping at Cornerstone for the past ten years to furnish my home. I am very conscientious about using sustainable, real wood furnishings in my home and purchasing second hand or consignment when possible. Our bedroom furniture, living room and dining room rugs and china cabinet are all from Cornerstone. The quality are top-notch and the prices were competitive. I get so many compliments on my rugs and when I tell people I got them at consignment they are amazed. One of the best features is that they post new and in-stock items as the inventory changes. I think their "want list" is brilliant. The only advice I have is to purchase something if you want it immediately. There are some items, like a needlepoint Maryland Hunt artwork that I still wish I had just bought! I do wish they still had their "white glove" delivery service, which came to Alexandria several times a month. Now you have to organize deliveries with a third party. I really loved the professionalism and care of their own in-store delivery team. I just purchased 20 Waterford Lismore tall glasses so they do have more than furniture! If you have classical or "Grandmillenial style" this is the place for you. Very beautiful, classical real wood pieces and everything is in excellent condition.

This is a long overdue shout out! I wanted to say “thanks” for helping with my move to Baltimore! I needed to quickly acquire two large room rugs of good quality and in great condition. The variety that you offered was fabulous and the prices even better! You rang me up, folded the rugs right then and there, and loaded them into my car. They were on the floors before the movers arrived (with heavy furniture) and look great! I’ve even received a number of compliments. Thank you!
